Celebrating Life #10

 

Got to celebrate my brother's 30th birthday!! It was so beautiful to be there with family, but it also made me reflect on how precious life is. How we need to live up every minute of it instead of dwelling on the past and thinking about the future. Be here now in the present and enjoy 🎂

Did a good deed #39

 While in Nola there were several homeless people around. Almost every street had them, some were musicians playing music, some were families, and some were even with there pet. It broke my heart to see so many people suffering. I wished I could have helped them all, but I just couldn't. However... My boyfriend got these 4 sliders from Krystals ( never eat here btw) and he didn't like them.. so I said this is so sad you cant waste these. So I took the sliders and saw this man with his dog and gave them to him. The dog jumped up on my leg and my heart exploded. I felt so happy and overwhelmed I teared up a little. We take so much in life for granted and just by doing that one simple thing can truly change your life.
